This Dartmoor Tree is the third from a small series of drypoint prints in sepia ink on soft creamy Hahnemühle etching paper.
I aimed to give the print a traditional 1950s etching style but using powertools, sandpaper and drypoint tools rather than etching in acid. The image was designed to demonstrate a range of drypoint mark-making for my students. Started as a demonstration while teaching a workshop at Double Elephant Print Workshop. I have now editioned it as an edition of 10 prints in sepia ink on soft creamy Hahnemühle etching paper.

Prints are carefully wrapped and posted flat within a couple of days from purchase.
This artwork was conceived and created solely as an original fine art print. Unlike a gicleé print or any other computer print out, none of my prints are reproductions of a pre-existing painting or drawing.

I like to use top quality heavy weight paper (this one is Hahnemühle etching paper 300gm cotton paper) so It is best not to roll up prints for posting, especially when the printing process results in a fair amount of embossing. I will therefore only ship my prints flat and protected with card.
